Battle of the Bands | July 10, 2009
July 10, 2009 Lighthouse Christian Centre threw a competition between 5 bands some bands traveling as far as Attleboro, MA. This event drew in around 230 people and raised around $1,500 dollars to go towards renovation of our teen center. Thank you to our groups who competed: The Heart of David, The Plan, Survive the Night, Cook’s Inc., and our Winner ACED. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and we are so thrilled and excited about next years battle!

Hero’s Tribute | May 30th, 2009
On Saturday May 30th we honored the local hero’s in the bordering towns. We had Carlos Vasquez come up from Ladder 46 in the Bronx to speak about his experience through 9/11 and how he lost 10 of his men.
