My marriage is now on a learning track. We are starting to heal and communicate with more effectiveness. We thank you Jody and Becky for your commitment and your life experiences. God bless you both. I look forward to returning to class and the new book in October.

Thank you to all who prayed for my mother Mary Ellingwood who is now recovering at home from severe anemia, a heart attack and congestive heart failure. Overall she is starting to feel better than she has in a long time. It is truely a miracle, or should I say 3 miracles that she is still alive. She still needs to quit smoking if she is to recover from the damage done to her body. Please continue to pray for her continued health and strength to break free from this addiction.

Please pray for Mary Ellingwood who was rushed to Kent Hospital yesterday and had to be administered 3 blood transfusions for severe anemia. During the transfusion she had a reaction that caused a minor heart attack. She also has a number of other major health issues that must be addressed as well as quitting smoking immediatley. An addiction which she has had for 50 years.

Please pray for all here and abroad that needs God’s graces, also for the families of those military personnel who died and those who are recovering from the tragedy at Ft. Hood Texas.

Linda’s surgery went well, home the same day. Now she’s having muscle spasms that are very painful. Pray for quick recovery.

Please pray for my family and all who were the victim of flood tragedy in the Philippines, they need prayer to be strong and have faith in God. Most of all pray that they will give their trust to God. With this tragedy, they don’t know where to go and who can be trust after all. They were trying to be strong but they still need God in bad and in good times. Thank you and God bless you all.

Lord Jesus, I pray tonite, for strength and comfort. Sometimes God things dont turn out the way we want them to, but Lord, the only one who has a say in things is You! The only one that has a purpose for this is You! Sometime you use setbacks and disappointments to make us stronger. Help us all to see tonite Lord, that You ARE in control. You are God in all of this. When we want to give up , Lord hold up our arms to persevere just one more step. Just one more step toward You and Your plan for Laurie. Fill her heart and her mind with peace Lord, Fill her soul with Your presence tonite God. Let all of us who love her and pray for her not give up this fight with her. Lord Jesus, now is a time to press in ever harder, and believe even more for You to touch her. to stand in the gap God and be there to hold her arms up when she is too weary. Hold her close to You tonite, Touch every fiber of her being with Your healing hands. Give her continued grace and confidence in You. Give her Your love overflowing. Lord be her anchor, be her shelter, be her healer, be her provider, be her strength, be her peace, be her encouragement, be the lifter of her head, be her help in time of trouble, be her fortress, her strong tower, her rock God. Your word promises all of these things and I know You are able to do this. In Jesus name I believe and trust! Amen

Good Morning LCC,

Please pray for a women named Margi, who recently fell off a ladder while trimming the hedges at her house and needed to be rushed to the hospital…. Only to find she shattered her shin bones to the point of needing sixteen screws and two or more plates in her leg.

UPDATE | Sept. 7, 2009

Thanks everyone for praying for my family! As usual God really answers prayer! My brother returned last night safely after a week of being missing. I am not sure of any details yet But I know we went from worried to relieved to really angry at his selfishness to relieved to angry....and so on. I can now take off my columbo hat and Thank God for His faithfulness!

Prayer Request | Sept. 5, 2009 my brother Josh has been missing since Sunday night No one has talked to him or seen him He is 20 yrs old he lives with my other brother and didnt take any clothes with him my brother filed a missing person report with Cumberland police dept. If anyone that knows him sees him tell him to call home!
